Spicy Italian

Summary: A drabble written for the LJ community QuantumLeap 100. The challenge was to include food.

 

"Sam! Is dinner ready yet?"

I answered, "Just try to be patient, Al. It's been awhile, you know."

I'd only been home from leaping for about a week, and I hadn't done a lot of cooking while I was gone.

Al wandered into the kitchen. "Sam, I swear, if you don't finish soon, I won't be held responsible for my actions."

"What are you going to do, Al?"

He ground his hips against mine. "I'll give you a sample of some very spicy Italian."

With that suggestion, I abandoned my cooking in favor of one of my very favorite foods.
