Faith

Summary: A drabble written for the LJ community QuantumLeap 100. The challenge was to write a drabble centered around faith.
I am swirling, lost in the mist.
When I'm in the leap, I don't remember this place.
When I'm in this place, I can't remember my last leap.
The only constant that I remember is Al.
I remember his raucous laugh, his cigars, and his bawdy jokes.
I remember the look of pure joy on his face when he lies in my arms after we've had mind-numbing sex.
Most of all, I remember his admonishment to have faith. Faith in God, faith in the project personnel, and faith in him to bring me home.
I remember having faith in Al.
