Summary: A challenge drabble for the LJ community, Everwood 100. The challenge was to write about something forgotten. (Bright/Ephram)
Ephram bolted upright in bed, drenched in sweat. Unable to forget the now familiar nightmare, he walked through the dark house to the living room.
After several minutes, he felt strong arms circle his waist from behind. "Dude, same nightmare again?"
Ephram just nodded and leaned back into those arms. The deep voice rumbled on, "You know, we couldn't have done anything differently. He's just gone."
"Yeah, I know. I just miss him so much."
'Ephram, you did everything you could. Your dad did everything he could. It's time to let it go. Colin's gone."
"I know, Bright. I know."
